Match Patient Demographics on eRx Refill Requests

When you receive an eRx refill request and NextGen® Enterprise EHR is unable to match the name of the patient with a patient in the database, the refill request task is listed with the Unmatched Refill Reqs subject.

The Refill Request Patient Matching window enables you to create a patient match based on the patient demographics information in the request data and the data of the corresponding patient.

If the patient is not available in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR database, or if you cannot find a close match, you can deny the refill request without matching the data.

  1. Double-click an Unmatched Refill Reqs task, or select Unmatched Refill Reqs , and then select Open.
