Modify Locked Encounter Diagnoses in the Billing ICD List

Locked encounters cannot be modified. However, you can duplicate (Recur) a problem and modify the duplicate. You can only Recur a problem in the Billing ICD List tab.   1. Select the patient's encounter that contains the diagnosis to modify.
  2. Open Problems module.
  3. Select the Billing ICD List tab.
  4. Select the diagnosis.
  5. Select the Recur button.
    NextGen® Enterprise enters the same problem with the current date.
  6. Make changes to the status and severity of the problem.
  7. Enter additional notes.
  8. Enter the Onset and Diagnosed dates by using the calendars.
  9. Select Save.
