You can delete an ICD code from the Billing ICD list if the Billing ICD code is not assigned to a locked encounter.
 
 
  - Select the patient's encounter that contains the problem to modify.
 
  - Open Problems module.
 
  - Select the Billing ICD List tab.
 
  - Do one of the following:
   
 
  - Select Yes to delete the ICD code.
   
    Note: All deleted billing ICD entries are displayed in the Deleted Items window. To open the Deleted Items window, on the the Billing ICD List display area toolbar select Deleted Items.
