Encounter Type Icons

Icons within the Encounter History tab provide a quick visual reference to determine the status and type of contents within an encounter or a case.

IconNameDescription
AppointmentIndicates that the encounter for the patient is linked to an appointment.
External PracticeIndicates that the encounter was created at another practice within the Enterprise.
GroupIndicates a group encounter.
CaseIndicates a case.
AddendumIndicates that there are images and/or documents added to a locked encounter.
Chart UpdateIndicates an encounter used to add documentation or update a record within a patient chart that was not part of a billable service. For example, documentation of a telephone call or prescription refill.
Sensitive EncounterIndicates a sensitive encounter.
Locked EncounterIndicates a locked encounter
Unlocked EncounterIndicates an unlocked encounter.
