Encounter Type Icons
Icons within the Encounters tab provide a quick visual reference to determine the status and type of contents within an encounter or a case.
| Icon | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Appointment | Indicates that the encounter for the patient is linked to an appointment. | |
| External Practice | Indicates that the encounter was created at another practice within the Enterprise. | |
| Group | Indicates a group encounter. | |
| Case | Indicates a case. | |
| Addendum | Indicates that there are images and/or documents added to a locked encounter. | |
| Chart Update | Indicates an encounter used to add documentation or update a record within a patient chart that was not part of a billable service. For example, documentation of a telephone call or prescription refill. | |
| Sensitive Encounter | Indicates a sensitive encounter. | |
| Locked Encounter | Indicates a locked encounter | |
| Unlocked Encounter | Indicates an unlocked encounter. |
