Documents, Images, and Urls Tab

Option	Description
Available Documents and Images	Displays a list of documents or images attached to the current encounter that have already been linked to this order.
Refresh	Refreshes the documents and images list.
Unlink Document/Image/Url	Unlinks a document, image, or URL.
Full Screen	Displays the order result on the full screen.

New Document and Images Entry Tab

On the New Document and Images tab, you can attach documents and images to lab and radiology orders. Test results are available in electronic form or paper form. If your test results are paper-based, you can scan the document and link it to the test order result. You can also search for other NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents on your file systems and other documents, such as Document Management (DM) images, and Microsoft® Word (.doc and -.docx formats). You must have permission assigned to link orders results and documents. Your System Administrator assigns your permissions. The New Document and Images Entry tab provides the following toolbar options. Option Description Select panel Selects a result panel. Results Panel Tabs

The Results panel contains the following tabs that control the formatting of results and related documents and images: Formatted Results Grid Results Documents, Images, and URLs New Results Entry New Document and Images Entry As you change from one tab to another in the Results panel, the title has the tab name appended to it to show which tab has been selected. The Documents, Images, and Urls tab provides the following toolbar options. View a Document with a URL Link

In Encounter History tab, you can view documents or images using a URL link. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select an encounter that has a document with a URL link, and select the button. The Encounter Details window opens. Select the document you want to view. The document opens. Service Date on Radiology Order Documents

If a document is attached to results for a radiology order, the results include a Service Date/Time column, in place of the Collection Date, which is used for lab orders. This Service Date/Time value matches the value in the History section for the date in the Diagnostic Tests section. If there were several tests ordered on this radiology order, the earliest time appears. There is also a Service Date/Time associated with documents or images that were manually added through the New Document and Images Entry tab. Parent topic: Documents, Images, and Urls Tab

Unlink Documents and Images from Test Orders

If a document or image was linked to a selected test, you can unlink it from that test order. On the Orders Summary tab, select a test order that has an attached document or image To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. In the Results toolbar, select Unlink Document/Images/Url.
