Create GE Stress ECG Reports

Before you start recording, ensure that the equipment is connected to the PC. For more information on how to use GE CardioSoft, refer to the appropriate GE CardioSoft Operator's Manual. Prepare the patient for the test as needed. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Open the Integrated Equipment Module. Select Acquire Report and select GE CardioSoft Stress ECG. The GE CardioSoft application starts and displays the Test Information window. On the Test Information window: For each tab, enter or verify all relevant information and select OK. Before the test starts: Check the applied electrodes and verify the signal quality in all leads. If needed, configure and select appropriate settings and protocols. Select the F1: pretest button to start the Pretest phase. Compare Midmark Spirometry Reports

You can compare up to ten Midmark Spirometry reports from the same patient. For more information on how to use Midmark functionalities, refer to the appropriate Midmark spirometry operation manual. Open the Integrated Equipment Module From the IEM grid, select the check boxes next to up to ten Midmark Spirometry reports. The Spirometry Trend window opens. Select Pre-Bronchodilator Tests or Post-Bronchodilator Tests and select OK. The Spirometry Trends window opens. Select the following buttons to perform appropriate actions, as needed: Save To File: Saves the report as a Microsoft Excel file. Print: Prints the report. Printer Setup: Enables you to change the printer settings. Select Report: Returns to the IEM Equipment Reports window. Select Items To Trend: Enables you to select trend settings for display or printing. View F/V Loops: Displays the Flow/Volume loops using the default screen format or the last screen format used. View Patient Info: Displays the Patient Information window.

Create New Midmark Spirometry Tests

The Midmark spirometer interface enables you to choose among FVC, VC, and MVV tests in both Pre-Bronchodilator (Pre-BD) and Post-Bronchodilator (Post-BD) modes. Prepare the patient for the test as needed. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Open the Integrated Equipment Module From the Acquire Report list, select Midmark Spirometer. If the Check Missing Information window appears, enter any missing values that you wish to and select Save and Continue. If you omit the Race, Date of Birth, Sex, or Height values, the following prompt appears: Select Yes to continue or No to return to the previous window. The Spirometry Test window opens. If the Spirometer has not been calibrated, a message appears, offering to perform calibration. Select Yes to perform the calibration or No to continue with the test. Attach Pre and Post-BD Tests

You can attach a Pre-Bronchodilator (Pre-BD) or Post-Bronchodilator (Post-BD) to an existing IQmark Spirometry test. Open the Integrated Equipment Module. Select an existing Midmark Spirometer record and select Acquire Data. The spirometry report window opens. Select either the Perform Pre-BD or Perform Post BD. The Spirometry Test window opens. On the Spirometry Test window: Select Settings to adjust any Spirometry options. Select either Pre (Bronchodilator) or Post (Bronchodilator) and select the test type ( FVC, VC, or MVW) . Select Start New Test. The system zeroes the sensor and displays an Incentive graphic Direct the patient to begin the Spirometry test. After the numbers have stopped rising, instruct the patient to inhale maximally, select Stop or select the Enter key to complete the test. Create GE Ambulatory Blood Pressure Reports

The following procedure assumes that you have configured the GE TONOPORT monitor with the appropriate protocol in CardioSoft, connected the monitor to the patient, and collected required data. Note: For more information on GE TONOPORT monitor setup and usage, refer to the appropriate GE TONOPORT Operator's Manual. For more information on how to use GE CardioSoft, refer to the GE CardioSoft Operator's Manual. Prepare the patient for the test as needed. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Access the IEM. Select Acquire Report and select GE CardioSoft Ambulatory Blood Pressure Measurement. The GE CardioSoft application starts and displays the Acquisition window. On the Acquisition window: Connect the monitor to the system and select the Connect button. The Acquisition window opens and displays the memory status of the ambulatory blood pressure monitor. Select the Download Data button to transfer data to the system. The Test Summary window opens.

Before you start recording, ensure that the equipment is connected to the PC. For more information on how to use GE CardioSoft, refer to the GE CardioSoft Operator's Manual. Prepare the patient for the test as needed. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Access the IEM. Select Acquire Report and select GE CardioSoft Resting ECG. The GE CardioSoft application starts and displays the Test Information window. Before the test starts, configure and select the appropriate settings as needed. On the Test Information window: For each tab, enter or verify all relevant information. Then select OK. If you are performing a: 10-second ECG with analysis, select the ECG Acquisition button. Full disclosure ECG, select the Start Full Disclosure ECG button. Select the Stop FD/Post Test Review button to stop the test and display the Test Summary window.
