Uninstall Auto Utility Windows Service

You can uninstall the Auto Release Windows Service on your system and install the Auto Release Utility in standalone mode. Select Start , and enter Command Prompt. Right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator. The Administrator: Command Prompt window opens. Enter the appropriate directory to change to the NextGen root folder. Note: Ensure that your changed directory has the NextGen root folder. In Command Prompt, enter NextGen.EMR.Lab.AutoRelease.Service Stop. ARU_Stop The command prompt displays if the Auto Release Utility Windows service has successfully stopped. In Command Prompt, enter NextGen.EMR.Lab.AutoRelease.Service Uninstall. ARU_uninstall The command prompt displays if the Auto Release Utility Windows service has been successfully uninstalled. Auto Release Utility - Windows Service

The Auto Release Utility integrates with the Orders module to track future and recurring orders scheduled for sending across lab or radiology interfaces. With the Auto Release Utility, you can: Schedule an order today and set it to release after six months. Schedule an order to release at multiple intervals within six months based on your needs. The Auto Release Utility offers two installation options: Windows-based service, which automatically restarts after interruptions. Standalone mode, which operates independently. You can install only one format at a time, selecting the one that best meets your requirements. Open Microsoft® Windows® Explorer and locate the NextGen Root folder. Locate and double-click NextGen.EMR.Lab.AutoRelease.exe file. The NextGen Security Log On opens. You can view the Practices and Process Time for an Instance. However, if an Instance is activated, you must deactivate it to view this information on the Details window. Refer to the following procedure for the detailed steps. From the Windows® System Tray/Notification area, double-click the NextGen EHR Orders Auto Release utility icon. In the Instance list, select the appropriate Instance Name (that is, user-defined name). If the Instance is inactive (Application Status fields are blank), go to Step 5. If the Instance is active (Application Status fields are populated) do the following: Select Deactivate. A confirmation window opens. Select Yes. The Security Logon window opens. Enter your Windows® User ID, Password, and Domain associated with your Windows® log on credential. The Auto Release Form window opens. Note: The Instance Application Status fields are now blank. Set up the Auto Release Windows Service

Before you begin You must install and configure the Microsoft ® Message Queue (MSMQ) to set up the Auto Release Windows Service for your practice. If your super UserId and PracticeId are not zeros, you must update your current values in NextGen.EMR.Lab.AutoRelease.Service.exe.config file of the NextGen root folder. You can set up the Auto Release Windows Service on your system to automatically release the orders. Select Start , and enter Command Prompt.
