Attach Addendums to Patient Document

Before you begin

To use addendums, the following settings are required in the System Administrator application:
  • The Save As RTF Universal Preference must be set to False.
  • Under Operations Rights / EHR Documents/Add Document Addendums, your user Access Rights must be set to Yes.
The TX Text viewer enables you to attach an addendum to a signed-off patient document, if you have permission to do so. You can attach multiple addendums to a single patient document. The addendum feature is not available in the HighEdit or Word Application viewer.
  1. Open the signed-off patient document in the TX Text viewer.
  2. Select the addendum icon on the Document bar of the viewer.

    The Addendum window opens beneath the original document window.
  3. In the Addendum window, enter the text you want to add.
    To clear all the text, select the Clear icon.
  4. Select the Add Addendum icon.
    The TX Text Viewer displays the addendum, user name, date, and time stamp on the page following the original document.
