Add a Procedure in Superbill

You can add a procedure to the Superbill module. The procedures are added to the patient's chart. In the Assigned Procedures grid, the Rx on File column displays the value as 'Y' for an entry when the Rx on File check box is selected for the corresponding procedure in the Procedures module. Similarly, the Rx on File column displays the value as 'N', when the Rx on File check box is not selected for the corresponding procedure. Access the Superbill Module. In the Available Procedures section, select the Procedures tab. Select a category from the list. Scroll down the list of available procedures. Do one of the following: Select the appropriate check boxes to select the required procedures. Select the Procedure Search tab. Do one of the following: Enter a description or code for the procedure. Enter a description or key for the SIM library. Select Search. If you do not enter anything for either description or code and select Search, the entire list of available procedures appears. Move d

Add Modifiers in Superbill

You can assign up to four modifiers per procedure. Each selected modifier appears in the Assigned Procedures area. Similarly, any modifier entered in the specific modules of NextGen® Enterprise are carried over into the Superbill module. You can scroll across the display grid to view the selected modifiers. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > Superbill. The Superbill module window opens. In Available Procedures, select Modifier. Superbill Select a modifier category from the Modifier list. Note: To view the modifier categories, you must set up the modifier category in the Modifier Categories List in File Maintenance. Add a Problem or Diagnosis in Superbill

You can assign a problem or diagnosis to the patient's chart in the Superbill module. Each problem you select and assign, appears in the Assigned Procedures grid in the Dx column. You can assign a diagnosis (Dx 1, Dx 2, Dx 3, and so on) in the Available Problems grid. You can edit your selections by selecting directly on the selection within the Assigned Procedures grid. In the Available Problems tab, select a diagnosis. To assign the selected diagnosis, select the Dx 1, Dx 2, Dx 3, or Dx 4 buttons. You can assign up to 12 diagnoses per procedure. Add National Drug Code IDs in Superbill

You can assign a National Drug Code (NDC) ID in the Superbill module. Access the Superbill Module. Move down to the NDC ID column in the Assigned Procedures list. Superbill Select NDC ID for the selected procedure. The Select National Drug Code ID window opens. Select National Drug Code ID Select NDC ID. Enter the Description, NDC ID, or CPT4 code. Superbill Module

The Superbill module enables you to do the following: Easily create a detailed summary of services provided with procedures, problems, and modifiers linked to each other. Assign a summary of services to a particular health plan and subsequently export all of the available information to a billing system. Using report generating software, Superbill enables you to create user-defined reports based on the summary of services. Select National Drug Code ID for a Procedure

You can select a National drug Code ID (NDC ID) for a procedure. Open the Procedures window in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To select NDC ID, select the ellipsis button. The Select National Drug Code ID window opens. Select National Drug Code ID Enter one of the following: Description, NDC ID, CPT4. Select Search. In the results, select the required NDC ID. Do one of the following: To exit with the selected NDC ID, select OK. To empty all search fields and perform a new search, select Clear. To exit without selecting an NDC ID, select Cancel.
