Print Pending Paper Claims Job

Field	Description
Claim Print Action	Indicates whether you want to print or export the paper claims.
Claim Form	Indicates the claim form you want the job to use for the pending claims. This field displays one of the following: ADA 2024 ADA 2019 CMS1500 (2005) UB04 CMS 1500 (2012) UB92 Forms or forms enhanced Note: The forms or forms enhanced are available in Claim Form list only if the forms or forms enhanced are mapped to the payer in File Maintenance. Note: When you change the practice in Run as Practice, the Claim Form list is refreshed.
Claim Type	Indicates one or more claim types for the job from the list.
Rendering Physician	Indicates the rendering physician that you want to apply to the job.
Financial Class	Indicates one or more financial classes that you want to apply to the job. Note: The Self Pay financial class is not available.
Primary	Indicate whether you want the job to include primary claims or not.
Secondary	Indicate whether you want the job to include secondary claims or not.
Tertiary	Indicate whether you want the job to include tertiary claims or not.
Claim request Create Date From/To	You can set a claim request creation date range for the job. Indicate the From and To dates that mark the time frame during which the claim requests you want to include in the job were created.
Update 'Pending' to 'Archived' status	Indicate whether you want the job to change the Pending status of the printed or exported claims to Archived status or not.
Job runtime alert setting (minutes)	Indicate the number of minutes you want the application to wait before sending out a job runtime alert email.
Job runtime alert email	Enter the email address of the person or persons to whom the application sends the job runtime alert.

Electronic Claims File Job

The following table helps to configure the fields of Generate Electronic Claims File Job: Field Description Submitter Profile Library Indicates the Submitter Profile you want to use for the claim generated by the job. The list of available Submitter Profiles is taken from the list in the File Maintenance application. Claim File Name Indicates the claim file name and the location where you want to save the claim file. You can set NextGen® Background Business Processor to take the claim file name from the Submitter Profile. You can specify whether you want NextGen® Background Business Processor to overwrite an existing electronic claim file with the same name when it exports the claim or add a timestamp to the electronic claim file name to differentiate it on Electronic Claim File Settings window. Bill Encounters Job

You can create the job to charge the rebilled or unbilled encounters and print or export the Claim Production report. Field Description Bill Status Indicates the billing status of the encounters. This displays the following values: Rebill Unbilled Financial Class Indicates the financial classes for the encounter. Primary Payer Indicates the individual primary payer for billing encounters based on which the job processes claims. Billable Date From/To Indicates the billable date range within which the job automatically bills encounters. Rendering Physician Indicates one or more referring physicians. You can create the job to download and export the claim status report by configuring the fields as described in the following table. Field Description Claim Request Create Date From/To Indicates the date range for future appointments that you what the job to cover. Statements Job

You can create a job to generate and export statements. Warning: If a Statements job fails to export the file, NextGen® Background Business Processor does not export the statement file, even if it looks acceptable. When a Statements export job fails, it is probable that NextGen® Background Business Processor has not updated the Next Statement Dates. This could result in duplicate statements in the next statement run. Configure the following fields: Field Description Statement Action Indicates whether you want to print or export the statement.
