View Run-Time Result of Adding Test Codes Data Set
- In the run-time Intake template, select Specialty as Family Practice and Visit Type as Office Visit.
- Under the sub-navigation bar, click Care Guidelines link.
The Care Guidelines template opens.
- In the Clinical Guidelines panel, click Add/Update.
The Activate Clinical Guidelines template displays.
- Click Condition and select Hypertension from the resulting list.
- Click Diagnosis and select a diagnosis.
- Click Add.
- Click Save & Close.
In the Care Guidelines template, the added condition is displayed in the blue pane. The grid displays several orders that are marked as due.
- Click OK.
- In the sub-navigation bar, click the Procedures link on the Intake template.
The Procedure template opens.
- In the Other section, click the EKG link.
The EKG Interpretation template opens.
- Select Normal Tracing.
- Click Assessment and select an assessment and description.
The Code and Status values are populated.
- Click Submit to Superbill. The Charges Submitted checkbox appears with a right tick indicating that the charges are submitted. The order is added to the Order table with the completed status. The charges are submitted for the ECG procedure to the Procedures module.
- Click Save & Close.
- Close the Procedure template, and then click Yes to save the changes.
- On the Intake template, click the Care Guidelines link.
The ECG order is not displayed in the grid.
- Click the Clinical Guidelines History link.
The Clinical Guidelines History template opens. The status of the ECG record is displayed as Completed. The order is displayed in the Clinical Guidelines History template as the:
- The Hypertension Protocol data set contains several orders. One of those orders is ECG.
- The ECG order is mapped to the ECG order associated with the Test Codes data set.
- The ECG entry in Test Codes data set is mapped to several synonyms and one of them is EKG.
- The EKG order is found in the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine order_table on the patient’s chart.
