setting empty gives users at your practice an unlimited amount of time to edit an existing order.
On the
Practice Configuration
template,
Orders/Plan
section, go to the
Order Edit Timeframe
row.
Enter the number of days a user is able to modify existing orders.
Click
Save and Close
.

Set Practice Defaults for Processing Orders
On the Practice Configuration template, scroll down to the Orders/Plans section. Set My Custom Plan as the Practice Default
Note: In NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, 8.3 to 8.3.5, the Framework Content and Dx Groups Reference Systems system templates are used to display the My Custom Plan template in the My Plan tab. On the Practice Configuration template, scroll down to the Orders/Plans section. In the My Plan row, select Launch My Custom Plan (ord_my_custom_plan). My Plan Click Save and Close. Enabling Order Set Creation in Run Time
On the My Custom Plan Setup template, your practice can select a default setting that enables users to create order sets directly on the My Custom Plan template. Move Existing Order Sets to the My Custom Plan Setup Template
The NgUtility Migrate Order Sets system template is available to make the transition from Assessment Plan Customization to the Order Set Configuration panel on the My Custom Plan Setup template, which is a centralized location for setting up order sets. The transition is only required to be applied once. The migration includes the list values for the various plan types and procedures associated with the patient prep instructions to display on the My Custom Plan template. From the File menu, select System\ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Under Show, select All. Double-click NgUtility Migrate Order Sets. The NgUtility Migrate Order Sets system template displays with a grid of Existing Orders Sets. In the Migrate Order Sets section, do one of the following actions: CAUTION: The migration of order sets to All Practices or to an individual Practice Name cannot be reversed. View Order Set Components
You can add a new order set, modify an existing set, remove a line item from an existing set, or delete an entire order set on the Order Set Configuration panel. On the My Custom Plan Setup template, Order Set Configuration panel, click any field in the top section to choose items from the resulting lists. Order Set Configuration Click OKto return to the My Custom Plan Setup template. The grid automatically refreshes. Note: The Developer, Funding Source, and Reference Updated fields are used to support clinical decisions. The Developer and Funding Source fields can be filled with the developer and funding source names respectively. When a new reference is added, Reference Updated automatically populates with the current date. Set Orders to Automatically Move to Pending Orders on Row Select
On My Custom Plan Setup template, General Configuration panel, select Add on Row Select. My Plan Config When Add on Row Select is turned on here, the following plan types on the My Custom Plan template automatically populate to Pending Orders when you select a row: Lab Orders Diagnostics Office Medications Office Procedures Office Supplies Office Labs Instructions Referrals Guidelines Click Save in the NextGen® Enterprise top toolbar.
