View Order Set Components

You can add a new order set, modify an existing set, remove a line item from an existing set, or delete an entire order set on the Order Set Configuration panel. On the My Custom Plan Setup template, Order Set Configuration panel, click any field in the top section to choose items from the resulting lists. Order Set Configuration Click OKto return to the My Custom Plan Setup template. The grid automatically refreshes. Note: The Developer, Funding Source, and Reference Updated fields are used to support clinical decisions. The Developer and Funding Source fields can be filled with the developer and funding source names respectively. When a new reference is added, Reference Updated automatically populates with the current date. Create a Practice-Specific List of Vendors

The following workflows result from the configuration of a practice preference for a performing entity: When no performing entity is selected as the default, the full list of vendors appears in the picklist on My Custom Plan, including To Be Determined, which defaults automatically in the Preferred Performing Entity field. You can manually change the selection on the My Custom Plan template. When more than one vendor is in the selected performing entity list for labs or diagnostics, the picklist on My Custom Plan only lists the selected performing entities. The Vendorfield defaults to the preferred vendor. A list of vendors can be configured in the Practices Master File to use when processing orders from the My Custom Plan template. Log into the File Maintenance application. Under Master Files > System, click EHR. Under EHR Master Files - System, click Practices. The Practices List window opens. Create a New Order Set

The My Plan templates display all order sets that are available in the system, including those that are shipped with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. The order sets can be based on a diagnosis group, provider, or specialty (department). To manage clinical references, configure categories for order types or the master picklist, refer to the indicated link. On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. In the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section, right-click and select Add New. The Provider's Custom Plan template opens. Depending on how you want to set up the order set, click the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Update an Order Set

On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Double-click the order set to be modified in the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) grid. The Provider's Custom Plan template opens with the items included in the selected order set filled in for the different order types. Make the required changes to the displayed order set. Select Save, and then select Close.The updated data displays in the grid. In the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) section of the Assessment Plan Customization template, select Save & Close.
