Set Orders to Automatically Move to Pending Orders on Row Select

On My Custom Plan Setup template, General Configuration panel, select Add on Row Select. My Plan Config When Add on Row Select is turned on here, the following plan types on the My Custom Plan template automatically populate to Pending Orders when you select a row: Lab Orders Diagnostics Office Medications Office Procedures Office Supplies Office Labs Instructions Referrals Guidelines Click Save in the NextGen® Enterprise top toolbar. Modify an Existing Order Set

On the Order Set Configuration panel, select an order row from the grid. The fields above the grid fill with the existing order set data. Order Set Configuration Make modifications to the appropriate fields. Note: When you update a reference, the system clears the Developer and Funding Source fields and you can manually update the developer and funding source names, respectively. The Reference Updatedfield automatically populates with the current date. Click Update and then click OK. Click Save in the NextGen® Enterprise top toolbar. Update an Order Set

On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Double-click the order set to be modified in the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) grid. The Provider's Custom Plan template opens with the items included in the selected order set filled in for the different order types. Make the required changes to the displayed order set. Select Save, and then select Close.The updated data displays in the grid. In the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) section of the Assessment Plan Customization template, select Save & Close. Add Clinical References to the My Custom Plan Setup

From the NextGen® Enterprise top toolbar, select the File menu and double-click System/Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, under Show, select All. Scroll down to double-click My Custom Plan Setup. On the Order Set Configuration panel, do one of the following: Highlight an Order Set from the grid to update. In the Order Set Name field, click and then click the top, blank row to free text an entry in the field. In the Diagnosis Group field, click to choose a value from the list. Click the Dept. and Provider fields to select an item from the resulting list. Click the Class field to choose an order type from the list. In the Order field, click to select a value. Free text in the Reference field. Note: The Developer, Funding Source, and Reference Updated fields are used to support clinical decisions. Create a New Order Set

The My Plan templates display all order sets that are available in the system, including those that are shipped with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. The order sets can be based on a diagnosis group, provider, or specialty (department). To manage clinical references, configure categories for order types or the master picklist, refer to the indicated link. On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. In the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section, right-click and select Add New. The Provider's Custom Plan template opens. Depending on how you want to set up the order set, click the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list.
