Delete an Entire Order Set

Modify an Existing Order Set
On the Order Set Configuration panel, select an order row from the grid. The fields above the grid fill with the existing order set data. Order Set Configuration Make modifications to the appropriate fields. Note: When you update a reference, the system clears the Developer and Funding Source fields and you can manually update the developer and funding source names, respectively. The Reference Updatedfield automatically populates with the current date. Click Update and then click OK. Click Save in the NextGen® Enterprise top toolbar. View Order Set Components
You can add a new order set, modify an existing set, remove a line item from an existing set, or delete an entire order set on the Order Set Configuration panel. On the My Custom Plan Setup template, Order Set Configuration panel, click any field in the top section to choose items from the resulting lists. Order Set Configuration Click OKto return to the My Custom Plan Setup template. The grid automatically refreshes. Note: The Developer, Funding Source, and Reference Updated fields are used to support clinical decisions. The Developer and Funding Source fields can be filled with the developer and funding source names respectively. When a new reference is added, Reference Updated automatically populates with the current date. Remove an Order Set
On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Highlight the order set row in the grid to be deleted. Select Remove. Select Save & Close. Parent topic: Create a New Order Set

Remove CARD Procedure Orders Other Data Set Items

Remove/Inactivate an Existing Orderable Guideline Item
You can remove an orderable test item of a patient on the Care Guideline Setup template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK. The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. Expand the Intervention/Orders Setup panel, select the guideline or test item from the grid. Details for the guideline or test item appear in the fields above the grid. Select Remove. The guideline or test item no longer appears in the grid as active for the selected Reason type.
