You can remove an orderable test item of a patient on the Care Guideline Setup template.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- From File, select System \ Practice Template.
The Select Template window opens.
- On the Practice tab, select the All option.
- Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
- Expand the Intervention/Orders Setup panel, select the guideline or test item from the grid.
Details for the guideline or test item appear in the fields above the grid.
- Select Remove.
The guideline or test item no longer appears in the grid as active for the selected Reason type. The guideline or test item appears in the grid when you select the Show only Removed/Inactive checkbox.
