Set My Custom Plan as the Practice Default

Note: In NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, 8.3 to 8.3.5, the Framework Content and Dx Groups Reference Systems system templates are used to display the My Custom Plan template in the My Plan tab. View Order Set Components

You can add a new order set, modify an existing set, remove a line item from an existing set, or delete an entire order set on the Order Set Configuration panel. On the My Custom Plan Setup template, Order Set Configuration panel, click any field in the top section to choose items from the resulting lists. Order Set Configuration Click OKto return to the My Custom Plan Setup template. The grid automatically refreshes. Note: The Developer, Funding Source, and Reference Updated fields are used to support clinical decisions. The Developer and Funding Source fields can be filled with the developer and funding source names respectively. When a new reference is added, Reference Updated automatically populates with the current date. Set a Timeframe for Users to Edit an Order

Leaving the Order Edit Timeframe setting empty gives users at your practice an unlimited amount of time to edit an existing order. Order Edit Timeframe On the Practice Configuration template, Orders/Plan section, go to the Order Edit Timeframe row. Enter the number of days a user is able to modify existing orders. Set Orders to Automatically Move to Pending Orders on Row Select

On My Custom Plan Setup template, General Configuration panel, select Add on Row Select. Create a Practice-Specific List of Vendors

The following workflows result from the configuration of a practice preference for a performing entity: When no performing entity is selected as the default, the full list of vendors appears in the picklist on My Custom Plan, including To Be Determined, which defaults automatically in the Preferred Performing Entity field. You can manually change the selection on the My Custom Plan template. When more than one vendor is in the selected performing entity list for labs or diagnostics, the picklist on My Custom Plan only lists the selected performing entities. The Vendorfield defaults to the preferred vendor. A list of vendors can be configured in the Practices Master File to use when processing orders from the My Custom Plan template. Log into the File Maintenance application. Under Master Files > System, click EHR. Under EHR Master Files - System, click Practices. The Practices List window opens.
