Set Practice Defaults for Processing Orders

  1. On the Practice Configuration template, scroll down to the Orders/Plans section.
  2. In the My Plan/Order Processing row, you can select any of the following options as the default for processing orders:
    • Process - enables the Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template to automatically launch when you click Place Order
    • Task- a template automatically launches to easily send a task to another user
    • Ask- enables choices for how the template appears
  3. Click Save and Close.
