Remove an ER Visit
Before you begin
Ensure that you have selected the
Specialty
and
Visit Type
as
Care Management
.
On the
Comp Assessment
tab, expand
Recent ER Visits (in last 12 months)
panel.
Highlight the record that you want to remove from the grid.

Document Recent ER Visits (in last 12 months) Panel
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. If a patient has had any emergency room (ER) visits since his or her last visit or in the past 12 months, document those ER visits on this panel. On the Comp Assessment tab, expand Recent ER Visits (in last 12 months) panel. ER Visits Click the Location field and select the hospital the patient was admitted to. Click the Date field and use the calendar to select the date the patient was admitted. Click the Diagnosis field and type a diagnosis code for the patient. Note: You can double-click the Diagnosis field to launch the Diagnosis search template. Use the template to search and select the diagnosis for the patient. Click the appropriate option for Summary report received. Click Add. The entered record appears in the Recent ER Visits panel. Remove an ER Visit Parent topic: Comp Assessment Tab

Remove Patient Hospitalization Records
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. On the Comp Assessment tab, expand Recent Hospitalizations panel. Highlight the record that you want to remove from the grid. Click Remove. Parent topic: Record Recent Patient Hospitalizations

Remove Studies Reviewed from the Reason for Visit Panel
You can remove the diagnostic studies. You can remove the studies reviewed record from the Reason for Visit panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select the Studies Reviewed record from the grid. The Remove button is enabled. Select Remove. The Studies Reviewed record no longer appears in the grid. Note: Removing the record from the Reason for Visit panel does not remove it from the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template or the History Summary panel. Remove a Document Entry
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Document panel. Click the entry on the grid to be removed. Remove Reviewed Diagnostic Studies
You can remove the diagnostic studies from the Reason for Visit panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. In the Reason for Visit panel, do one of the following: Select the Studies Reviewed record from the grid, and then select Remove. Select Diagnostics to open the Diagnostic History Entry template, then select a diagnostic study from the grid, and select Remove from HPI Grid. Note: To turn on the Remove from HPI Grid button, you must select a study that is previously added to the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template. The Studies Reviewed row no longer appears in the grid of the Reason for Visit panel. Note: Removing the record from the Reason for Visit panel does not remove it from the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template or the History Summary panel. Remove a Reason for Visit
You can remove a reason for visit for a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select the Additional / Manage link in the left pane of the Reason for Visit panel. Select Clear beside the applicable reason for visit field. Select Save & Close.
