The Developmental link in the left pane enables you to open the Child Dev. Rec template and document the child's developmental milestones.
The Social Determinants of Health and PRAPARE links appear based on the settings in the PRAPARE® section of the Practice Configuration template. Social Determinants of Health enables the documentation of social, behavioral, and psychological data for the patient. For more information about these settings, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Practice Configuration Template User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine.
Based on the patient's age, the Confidential link enables you to view and enter the confidential information provided by the patient during the encounter.
The History Summary panel displays the patient history documented on the Histories template. You can also add diagnostic studies with a documented Result or Interpretation to the Reason for Visit panel using the Add to HPI button on the Diagnostic History Entry template. You can remove the diagnostic studies that appear in the Reason for Visit panel from the History Summary panel.
The History Review button enables you to open the History Review template where you can select one of the following options for each category:
- Reviewed, no changes to indicate that you have reviewed the patient's history and there are no changes.
- Reviewed, updated to indicate that you have reviewed and updated the patient's history.
- Detailed document to display all history details on the Histories template in the encounter document.
- History unobtainable to indicate that the patient's history information is not obtainable. You can also enter the reason in the field beside the option.
The past medical/surgical, interim, and diagnostic history review options are grouped for Evaluation and Management (E&M) calculations. Social and family history reviews have separate history reviews for E&M calculations.
