Manage Patient History Records

You can modify the patient history records.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. To update a patient history record, do the following:
    1. For the Past Medical/Surgical, Interim, Family, and Diagnostic categories, select the record from the grid, and update the necessary details.
    2. To edit a history record for the Social category, select the relevant option from the list, select Add/Edit, and then update the necessary details.
  3. To remove a patient history record, do the following:
    1. In the History Summary panel, for the Past Medical/Surgical, Interim, and Family categories, select the record from the grid, and select Remove.
    2. For the Diagnostic category, select Add/Edit, select the record from the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template, and select Delete.
