Overview of the Configurable Client Check Boxes

The client configurable check boxes enable you to include predefined text in your documentation.

You can quickly document custom data using client configurable check boxes. Based on the configuration done on the Framework Content template in the Client CheckBox Configuration panel, the names of the templates and panels, and the captions of the check boxes appear on the Configurable Checkboxes template.

Client Configurable check boxes

For a specialty, if you do not configure the check boxes, a message appears on the Configurable Checkboxes template indicating that no check boxes are configured for the current specialty. You can open the Configurable Checkboxes template from the navigation bar.

You can configure the check boxes for the Intake, SOAP, and Pediatric SOAP templates for the following panels:

  • Allergies
  • Assessment/Plan
  • General
  • History Summary
  • Immunizations
  • Medications
  • Order
  • Screening
  • Physical Exam
  • Reason for Visit
  • Review of Systems
  • Vital Signs

When you select the check boxes, the predefined phrase is included in the document during document generation. If configured, the custom label of the check boxes appear in the Checkbox Caption column on the Configurable Checkboxes template.
