You can document the custom phrase and label for client check boxes.
You can configure the customizable client check boxes for the Intake, SOAP, and Pediatric SOAP templates.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open the Framework Content template.
- Select a specialty from the list.
- Click the Client CheckBox Configuration panel.
- To select a template name and a card name, do one of the following:
- Select the Template and Card Name from the list.
- In the grid, select a row of template and card names to configure.
Note: The Card Name field refers to a specific panel of the applicable templates. For example, Reason for Visit and Vital Signs are specific panels on the Intake, SOAP, and Pediatric SOAP templates. The data in the text fields is automatically filled.
- In CheckBox Caption, enter the label for the check box.
- In Document Text, enter the custom phrase.
- To make the client check box visible on the applicable templates, clear the Hide check box.
- To sort the order of the check boxes, click Sort Order, and then select the order of the check box from the list.
- Click Update.
The configured client check boxes display the label and are visible for the corresponding panel of the applicable templates on the Configurable Checkboxes template.
Note: You must thoroughly test the workflow and interaction of the templates that are opened with the client check boxes.
