You can use the client configurable check boxes on the Intake, SOAP, and Pediatric SOAP templates.
The NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine package includes client-configurable check boxes to include predefined text while generating documentation.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- For a patient encounter, open a template.
For example, Intake.
- In the Navigation bar, select the Configurable Checkboxes link.
The
Configurable Checkboxes template opens.
- Select a record from the grid.
The
Template and
Panel Name fields are updated automatically.
Note: When you hover over the selected item in the grid, the documented predefined text is displayed. A tick mark in the Documented column indicates that the check box is already selected and the predefined text is included in the document.
Note: If configured, the custom label of the check box appears in place of Check Box and in the Checkbox Caption column.
- Select the check box next to the Panel Name field.
- Select Update, and then close the template.
