Lab Completed Status
You can identify if a lab test is completed by lab vendor on which care guidelines rely.
Lab vendors use certain words or phrases to indicate the test completion. To determine if a test is completed, you need to identify the vendor’s name and the wording used by the vendor when the test result is final. For example, lab corp may use the term complete to indicate that the results are available, while quest may use done. Care guidelines relies on the predetermined verbiage to identify a test as completed. If the status of the result is not consistent with the configured verbiage (for example, interim), then the test is not considered as completed in care guidelines, and it is shown as due.
