Care Guidelines Incomplete Tests
You can specify the vendor name and the language used by lab vendors to indicate unperformed test.
To determine whether a lab test is completed, care guidelines relies on specific language used by lab vendors. If a test has not been performed, the vendor uses certain words to indicate that. After these words are defined by you, care guidelines do not consider results or comments containing them as completed. If you do not set up these values, care guidelines may mistakenly mark a test as complete. You must specify the vendor’s name, the language used to indicate an unperformed test, and where that language can be located (Result or Result Comments field). For Example, if a specimen is sent to lab corp for a Complete Blood Count (CBC) and a lipid profile, and the CBC cannot be performed due to insufficient specimen, you must determine the words as not done in the Result field to indicate the test is incomplete.
