Grant User Access to GET Settings
The GET access rights are granted at the group level in System Administrator.
Open System Administrator.
The
NextGen System Administrator
window opens and the defined practices are displayed in the left pane.
Right-click a practice and select
New Group
from the menu.
The
General
tab of the
Security Group
tab appears in the right pane.
Type a name for the group in the
Name
field.
Type a description for the group in
Description
.
Fill in the other details as required.
Click
Save
.
The group name is added to the navigation pane.
Click the
Rights
tab.
Click the plus sign for
Operations
and click
Administration
.
Click
Edit EHR Component Profiles
.
Click
Yes
option in
Access Rights
.
Click
Update
.
You are returned to the
General
tab for the Security Group.
To add members to the group, select the check box for each member to be added.

Setup Access Rights for Group Scheduling
To work with patient groups, group appointments, and group encounters in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR, users must have security access rights in System Administrator. Access System Administrator. The NextGen System Administrator window opens. On the left, select to expand an enterprise and then a practice. Select a user group within the practice. Select the Rights tab. To enable users to add or modify Patient Groups in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR, do the following: Select to expand Operations, and then select Patient Group. In the Access Rights section, select Yes. To enable users to schedule Group Appointments in NextGen® Enterprise PM, do the following: Select to expand Modules, then expand Scheduling, and then select Appointments. Assign eRx Status User Permission
You can assign permission to users to access the eRx Status window and view the details. In System Administrator, select your practice and group. Select the Rights tab. Setting Up the Security Rights to Access Clinical Reconciliation Immunizations data
To reconcile Immunizations data, users must have access to the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Clinical Reconciliation module. To provide this access, set up the user rights in System Administrator Module. Open System Administrator. Select the practice. Select the appropriate user group. Select the Rights tab. Select Modules to expand the list. Scroll through the list to find the Discrete Data Import option. Select the Immunizations option. To provide Access Rights for this group, select Yes in each of the access options (that is, View, Add, Update, Delete, and Print). The Access Rights default is Yes. To select or disable all of the Access Rights for this group, select Select/Deselect All. To save your changes, select Save. Enable the system to perform the Registry Query operations in System Administrator by selecting Operations > Orders > Allow Registry Query. Rights and Permissions
After you add a group to a practice, you must determine the access rights for the group to enable the users to access the NextGen® Enterprise application applicable to their roles. Rights and permissions can be given only at the group level. All users added to a group automatically inherit all the rights and permissions of the group. A user inherits the rights and permissions of all the groups to which they are added. The MODULES permission group provides the list of programs that perform a task. The MODULES permission group enables you to set specific rights for each module and in some cases components of the module. You can choose the following when setting up permissions in the MODULES group. View Add Update Delete Print The OPERATIONS permission group lists the actions or tasks that are carried out within a module by the user. The OPERATIONS permission group enables you to grant or deny rights related to some of the functions of the system by selecting the Yes or No check boxes. MO

Assign Permissions to Add Insurance
In System Administrator, you can assign permissions to user groups that want to include additional insurances at the order level. For more information on access rights in System Administrator, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. Note: At the order level, when you manually change an insurance selection, the encounter-level insurance configurations are not affected. Assign Rights to a Security Group
You can manage or assign rights within NextGen® Therapy Suite to different security groups created in the System Administrator. For more information on creating security groups, download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise from NextGen Healthcare Success Community. On the NTS System Config system template, expand the Security Groups and Sign Off panel. Under the Security Group Category Configuration grid, select the field below the Security Group column, and then select the Security Group you want to assign rights to.
