Security Group Category/Payer Overrides

Use Security Group Category/Payer Overrides grid to create alerts that users, based on their security group and the patient’s payer on the case, will see on the NTS Homepage template. The Allow and Prevent options work in conjunction with the Action column to override the setting of Bill & Sign permissions (see Security Group Category Bill & Sign Visit Type Permissions) when a payer is an exception to the general setting. Security Groups and Sign Off Panel

On the Security Groups and Sign Off panel, you can: Assign rights to a security group. Assign "Bill & Sign" rights to each security group category based on visit type. Create alerts based on the security group category and payer. Configure additional sign-off options as needed. Set Up Security Rights for Significant Events

In System Administrator, select the practice and user group. On the Rights tab, expand Operations > Preferences, and then select Significant Events. Under Access Rights, select Yes or No to assign or remove the security rights for the user group. Assign Permissions to Add Insurance

In System Administrator, you can assign permissions to user groups that want to include additional insurances at the order level. For more information on access rights in System Administrator, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. Note: At the order level, when you manually change an insurance selection, the encounter-level insurance configurations are not affected. For more information on encounter-level insurance configurations, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Patient Demographics Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. Open System Administrator. To assign add insurance permissions to a user group, in the left pane, expand the Enterprise and Practice folders, and then select the user group. Select the Rights tab. Provide Sign-off Rights to a Security Group

On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Provider & Clinical Staff Picklists panel. From the Template "Sign-off" Categories grid, select the desired category. In the field below the Security groups included in Category grid, select the security group to added to the selected Sign-off category. Add button for Security Groups in the Provider and Clinical Staff Picklists panel Click Add. The added group appears in the Security groups included in Category grid on selecting the corresponding Sign off category.
