Assign eRx User Permission
You must assign the eRx user permission to all enrolled providers to prescribe medications electronically. In System Administrator, select your practice and group. Select the Rights tab. eRx Status Dialog Operation Security Rights
The eRx Status Dialog Operations subgroup in the System Administrator application enables users to access fields in the eRx Status window. Security Rights Used in Description Multi-Provider Search NextGen® Enterprise EHR Enables users to use the Provider field in the eRx Status window to filter eRx statuses by the provider who prescribed the medication. If you do not want users to view other providers' patient information within the same location, set the security right to No to disable the Provider field. Multi-User Search NextGen® Enterprise EHR Enables users to use the User field in the eRx Status window to filter eRx statuses by the user who sent the message. Set Up Access Rights for Insights Viewer
You can configure the access rights for Insights under the Insight Operations subgroup in System Administrator to view the Insights window icon on the Quick Access panel in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open System Administrator, and select the user group to configure. Select the Rights tab, and then expand OPERATIONS. Under Insight, select Insights Access. In the Access Rights section, select Yes. By default, the Access Rights is set to No for all user groups. If the Access Rights is set to No, the icon to open the Insights Viewer window is disabled in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select Save. View the eRx Provider Status
