You can set up a condition and select a preset time or manually enter the time or date limit and timeframe for a follow-up visit on the Follow-up/Disposition template.
- To use a condition for the follow-up visit time, click the Time limit field in the Follow-up section, and select the condition from the Follow-up visit timelist.
For some options, you can select a unit of time, which then appears in the first
Timeframe field. The application calculates the date and displays it in the
by this date field.
For example, if you select before from the Follow-up visit time list, you can then select 1 week. The Timeframe field displays 1 week and the by this date field displays a date one week from the current date.
- To enter your own time limit, click the blank row at the top of the Follow-up visit time list, and then type the text in the Time limit field. You can then enter a time period in the Timeframefield or leave it blank.
- To enter a date limit, select the by this date check box in the Follow-up section, and then click the date field to select a day from the calendar.
You can enter the date limit instead of or in addition to the time limit and timeframe.
- To select a preset timeframe for the follow-up visit, click the first Timeframe field in the Follow-up section, and select a preset time from the Follow-up visit time list.
- To enter your own timeframe, click the blank row at the top of the Follow-up visit time list, and then type the date in the Timeframe field. You must enter the description as the number of days, weeks, months, or years.
- To select a month for the follow-up visit, click the second Timeframe field, and select the month from the Follow-up visit month list.
