Document Follow Up Details
- In the Orders panel, click Follow Up.
The Follow-up/Disposition template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates in the group as the working assessment. The system defaults to the current working assessment. If required, you can select another assessment, which becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates in the group.
- Do one of the following:
- If not already selected, select the diagnosis in the grid and then select the follow up check box along with other details and the suggested time for the follow-up visit.
- Click Add/Edit Assessment to enter a new diagnosis or modify an existing assessment for the current patient.
- With the correct description selected in the grid, in the Follow-up section, select follow up along with any other details and the suggested time for the follow-up visit.
- In the Disposition section, click the Disposition field to select an option from the list.
- To indicate the patient does not want to comply, select Refused.
- Select an option from the Reason list.
- To indicate a recommended time for disposition, click Timeframe to enter the values.
- Click Place Order.
Note: Place Order is only active after a diagnosis is selected and the Follow-up check box is selected.The fields clear so that you can enter another follow-up appointment.
- Click OK.
Note: If you click OK without placing an order, a message appears to confirm if you want to continue and place the order. If you click Yes, an order is placed and another follow-up appointment can be entered. If you click No, the confirmation window and the Follow-up/Disposition template are closed without placing the order.

The group of templates that share the selected assessment for the patient.
