Place a Follow-up or Disposition Order
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Do one of the following:
- In the Assessment Plan panel, click the A/P Details link in the left pane.
- On the My Plan (PT) template, click the A/P Details tab.
The Assessment Plan Details template opens. - Click Follow Up.
The Follow-up/Disposition template opens.
- To add or update the working assessment, select the diagnosis in the grid.
- Select the follow up checkbox.
- Enter the details and time for the follow-up visit.
- In the Disposition field, select an option from the list.
- If the applicable option is not available in the list, click the top blank row and then type a value in the Disposition field.
- If the patient refused the selected disposition, select the Refused checkbox.
- In the Reason field, select an option from the list.
- In the Timeframe field, select an option from the list.
- Click Place Order.
The fields clear so that another follow-up appointment can be entered. The follow-up appointments appear in the Assessment/Plan grid.
- Click OK.
