Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links

The Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel on the Common Assessments practice template enables you to create the common assessment groups. You can associate a group to a template link name for a specific specialty, age, and gender. Manage Common Assessments

The Manage Common Assessments panel is used to add the appropriate diagnosis codes to the assessment pages configured in the Manage Common Assessment Page and Links panel. In the Manage Common Assessments panel, there is a limit of 124 list items. The assessments fit into Category and Subcategory descriptions that are limited to 25 characters per description and the individual codes, which can be up to eight characters. This panel enables you to add and edit common assessment codes and descriptions. Common Assessment Practice Template

You can configure and manage common assessment sets on the Common Assessments practice template. It is used to create common diagnosis codes that can be used by any specialty. Common Assessments

The Common Assessments practice template enables you to define common assessments that providers can quickly select on various NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. The Common Assessments practice template is used to define and manage common and custom assessments for a specialty. In run time, the configured common assessments appear in the Common Assessment template that opens when you click the Add common assessment link on the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. In the Common Assessment template, the order of the common assessments is same as the order of the assessments configured in the Common Assessments practice template for the selected specialty. You can click the Common assessment field in the Common Assessment template to select a different common assessments group. You can manage items on the Common Assessment pages from the Manage Common Assessments panel of the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template. Configuring Assessment Pages

You can create and maintain assessment pages for adding diagnoses to a patient’s history. You can use the Specialty Common Assessment Config practice template to build assessment pages using diagnosis groups configured on the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config practice template. The assessment pages are accessed throughout the medical record templates for adding diagnoses to the patient’s diagnosis history grids. Specialty Common Assessment Config The Specialty Common Assessment Config template has the following panels: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links.
