Sort the Procedure Documentation and Findings Values

In the Documentation panel, you can change the order of the sections, sub-sections, and the right grid values. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. Select Procedure documentation or Procedure findings. To sort a value in the left pane: Select the Enable sort check box. Select a value from the left pane. Click the promote or demote arrow below the left pane and the selected value moves to a new position. Note: If you attempt to sort a section linked to another section, an alert message appears to confirm the changes. You can click the icon to view information on the section order. To sort a value in the right grid: Select a section or sub-section from the left pane. The right grid displays the associated values. Highlight a value in the right grid. Configure Procedure Documentation and Findings Content

In the Documentation panel, you can add the procedure documentation and procedure findings values for sections and sub-sections configured in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. On the Procedure Documentation Config- practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. The procedures are configured for a specialty on the Procedure Config practice template. Select Procedure documentation or Procedure finding to configure values for a section or sub-section available in the left pane of this panel. If you select the Procedure Findings option, the system opens a list of locations or findings documented for a procedure in the Procedure Findings panel. Based on the selected procedure, the first list can include locations. After you select a location, the second list appears to select a finding. Select a section or sub-section from the left pane. Read-Only Fields in Concatenation Section

The Concatenation section includes the read-only fields described in the table. Field Description Section preview Displays concatenation for the selected section. Linked post section preview Displays concatenation of the section and the post section if you select the Linked post section check box. Paragraph preview Displays the concatenation of all the selected values. If you select static value in the Documentation panel, the static values or any linked values appear in this field. Create or Edit Sentences for a Dynamic HPI

You can configure the concatenation of the dynamic HPI findings. Navigate to the Findings section of the Dynamic HPI Config practice template. Click Edit/Create new sentence. The Dynamic HPI Sentences Config template opens. Dynamic HPI Sentences Config Click the Pre Text field to enter the text for a new sentence. The character limit is one hundred (100) Click the Information icon to view the functions to enter in the Pre text field. Sentence Functions Click Add Function to select a value from the HPI Functions window. HPI Functions If you have the Pre Text as "[FNAME] [LNAME] is a [AGE] [GENDER]", the dynamic HPI template displays the patient's name, age, and gender as 'John Smith is a 45 year old male' Example for sentence structure In the Include section, select Finding to include a finding in a sentence. Document an ASC Procedure

In the Documentation panel, click Add. The ASC Procedure Documentation template opens. ASC Procedure The Procedure field displays the procedure entered in the Procedure panel. If more than one procedure is entered in the Procedure panel, then the Procedure field displays the first procedure documented in the current encounter. The Procedure field includes left and right arrows. The left blue arrow is used to navigate to the previous procedure and the right blue arrow is used to navigate to the next procedure. If the current encounter includes only one procedure, then the arrows are not available. By default, the system selects the Procedure documentation option and displays the associated sections in the left pane. Select a section in the left pane. The corresponding list of values appears in the grid, and the navigational tab appears above the left pane. Document Description for an Entry Type in the Documentation Log Panel

On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Documentation Log panel. Select an Entry Type from the first left pane. The associated categories appear in the second left pane. Select a Category and then a Sub Category, if available. In Value, enter a description up to 100 characters to associate with the selected entry type and category or sub-category. Click Selection type and select any of the following options from the list: Mutually exclusive : In run time, you cannot associate multiple descriptions with a category or sub-category. Multiple choice : In run time, you can select multiple descriptions for a category or sub-category. If applicable, click Value Type 1 and select any of the following options: Number Pad : In run time, a number pad opens when you select a description. Free Text: In run time, the Custom Value window opens when you select a description. Medication Name : Select Brand name or Generic name from the Medication Type list in the practice template
