Configuration Options Section

The Configuration Options section in the Documentation panel includes the following check boxes to configure default functionality on certain fields and buttons: Default paragraph view to editable Generate Procedure Letter on generation of the Procedure document If you select the Default paragraph view to editable check box, the system allows you to edit the text concatenated in the paragraph format in the grid on the run-time ASC Procedure Documentation template and the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template. The icon is available to view the information on the functionality of the Default paragraph view to editable check box in run-time. If you select the Generate Procedure Letter on generation of the Procedure document check box, the system enables you to generate a referral letter along with the procedure document from the Generate Document button at the bottom of the ASC - Physician Procedure template. Edit the Procedure Documentation and Procedure Findings Descriptions

In the Documentation panel, you can modify the procedure documentation or procedure findings details. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. The procedures are configured for a specialty on the Procedure Config practice template. Select Procedure documentation or Procedure findings. Select a section from the left pane. The associated descriptions appear in the right grid. Select a row in the right grid. The data fills the corresponding fields at the top of the grid. Make relevant changes in the applicable fields. Click Update. Note: If the selected record is required for the regulatory, registry, or GIQuIC quality measures, an alert message appears indicating that the record has a value in the Required field. Buttons on the Documentation Panel

The Documentation panel includes the buttons described in the table. Button Description Previous Level Moves back to the previous level if you have more than one level for the selected value. The button is inactive for the first level content. You need to highlight a row in the grid and click the Previous Level button to view the previous level data. Next Level Moves to the next level if you have more than one level for the selected value. The button is inactive for the last level content. You need to select a row in the grid and click the Next Level button to view the next level data. In run time, the configured section and/or sub-section values appear in the right grid of the ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates. If you select a value associated with the diagnosis and procedure code, system updates the procedure, and the diagnosis description and billing code in the Procedure Billing panel after you click the Auto Billing button. Remove Procedure Documentation and/or Procedure Findings Descriptions

In the Documentation panel, you can remove a procedure documentation or procedure finding from the grid. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. Select the Procedure documentation or Procedure findings option. Select a value from the left pane. The associated descriptions appear in the right grid. Select a description from the right grid. Click Remove. Note: If the selected record is required for the regulatory, registry, or GIQuIC quality measures, an alert message appears indicating that the record has a value in the Required field. Configure Procedure Documentation and Findings Content

In the Documentation panel, you can add the procedure documentation and procedure findings values for sections and sub-sections configured in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. On the Procedure Documentation Config- practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. The procedures are configured for a specialty on the Procedure Config practice template. Select Procedure documentation or Procedure finding to configure values for a section or sub-section available in the left pane of this panel. If you select the Procedure Findings option, the system opens a list of locations or findings documented for a procedure in the Procedure Findings panel. Based on the selected procedure, the first list can include locations. After you select a location, the second list appears to select a finding. Select a section or sub-section from the left pane. Document the ASC Phy Procedure Findings Template

In the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template, the Procedure field displays the procedure selected in the Reason for Visit section of the Findings panel. The Start navigational tab appears below the Procedure field. This tab displays the sections and the sub-sections in the left pane. The sections and associated sub-sections are configured for a procedure on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. Select a section from the left pane. The right grid displays a list of findings associated with the section. Note: A section can include a list of sub-sections configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. You need to select a sub-section in the left pane to display a list of findings associated with the sub-section in the right grid. Select an appropriate finding(s) from the right grid. An asterisk (*) appears to the left of the section and the selected finding. If the findings in the right grid are not appropriate for selection: Click custom value in the lis
