Sort the Procedure Documentation and Findings Values

In the Documentation panel, you can change the order of the sections, sub-sections, and the right grid values. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. Select Procedure documentation or Procedure findings. To sort a value in the left pane: Select the Enable sort check box. Select a value from the left pane. Click the promote or demote arrow below the left pane and the selected value moves to a new position. Note: If you attempt to sort a section linked to another section, an alert message appears to confirm the changes. You can click the icon to view information on the section order. To sort a value in the right grid: Select a section or sub-section from the left pane. The right grid displays the associated values. Highlight a value in the right grid. Buttons on the Documentation Panel

The Documentation panel includes the buttons described in the table. Button Description Previous Level Moves back to the previous level if you have more than one level for the selected value. The button is inactive for the first level content. You need to highlight a row in the grid and click the Previous Level button to view the previous level data. Next Level Moves to the next level if you have more than one level for the selected value. The button is inactive for the last level content. You need to select a row in the grid and click the Next Level button to view the next level data. In run time, the configured section and/or sub-section values appear in the right grid of the ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates. If you select a value associated with the diagnosis and procedure code, system updates the procedure, and the diagnosis description and billing code in the Procedure Billing panel after you click the Auto Billing button. Configure Procedure Documentation and Findings Content

In the Documentation panel, you can add the procedure documentation and procedure findings values for sections and sub-sections configured in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. On the Procedure Documentation Config- practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. The procedures are configured for a specialty on the Procedure Config practice template. Select Procedure documentation or Procedure finding to configure values for a section or sub-section available in the left pane of this panel. If you select the Procedure Findings option, the system opens a list of locations or findings documented for a procedure in the Procedure Findings panel. Based on the selected procedure, the first list can include locations. After you select a location, the second list appears to select a finding. Select a section or sub-section from the left pane. In the Sections panel of the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, you can configure procedure documentation and procedure findings sections that appear in the left pane of the Documentation panel on this practice template. In run time, the configured sections of procedure documentation and procedure findings appear in the ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Sections panel. To configure sections for a procedure, click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. The list includes all the procedures configured in the Procedure Config practice template for the selected specialty. Select any of the following options: Procedure documentation - Select this option to configure sections to appear in the left pane of the Documentation panel in this practice template and on the run-time ASC Procedure Documentation template. Generate Documents on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The following two buttons are available at the bottom of the ASC - Physician Procedure template: Button Function Procedure Letter Click to generate the Asc_Ref_Proc_Phy_proc_letter document for the referring providers as a reference to the procedure performed on the patient. Generate Document Click to generate encounter based document Or, Click the drop-down arrow on the button and select a procedure from the list to generate the procedure based document. The procedure note document includes all the details and the images associated with the selected procedure. Note: The system generates the referral note with the procedure document if you select the Generate Procedure Letter on generation of the Procedure document check box in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. This document provides instructions to configure procedure documentation and procedure findings content in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. The Procedure Documentation Config practice template enables you to configure procedure documentation and findings. The configured content appears in the run-time Documentation panel and Findings panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template.
