In the Sections panel of the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, you can configure procedure documentation and procedure findings sections that appear in the left pane of the Documentation panel on this practice template.
In run time, the configured sections of procedure documentation and procedure findings appear in the ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates.
- On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Sections panel.
- To configure sections for a procedure, click Procedure and select a procedure from the list.
The list includes all the procedures configured in the Procedure Config practice template for the selected specialty.
- Select any of the following options:
- Procedure documentation - Select this option to configure sections to appear in the left pane of the Documentation panel in this practice template and on the run-time ASC Procedure Documentation template. The option is selected by default.
- Procedure findings - Select this option to configure sections for the findings to appear in the left pane of the Documentation panel on this practice template and on the run-time ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates. When you select this option, the GET member equivalent field is activated.
If you select the Procedure findings option, the system opens a list of locations if configured in the Procedure Findings panel. After you select a location from the list, the system opens a list of findings configured for the location in the Procedure Findings panel. You need to select a finding from the list to configure sections for the procedure findings.
- In Section, enter a name for the procedure documentation or findings.
The value documented in the Section field fills the Short description field. The value in the Short description field appears as a navigational tab above the grid in the Documentation panel on this practice template, and in the run-time templates.
- If you select the Procedure findings option, click GET member equivalent and select the GET attribute (column) to map to the current section.
In the run-time Findings panel, you need to configure the column to appear in the GET grid to display the mapped section data. The GET concatenates the mapped section data into the grid below GET. The mapped section is hidden on the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template to avoid documenting the section data again.
- To clear the selected value from the GET member equivalent field, click the field and select the top-blank row from the list.
The Clear button clears data from the Section, Short description, GET member equivalent fields.
- Click Add.
The documented data appears in the grid.
In run time, the configured procedure documentation and findings sections appear in the left pane on the ASC Procedure Documentation template. The procedure findings sections also appear in the ASC Phy Procedure Findingstemplate.
