Configure a Sub Section

In the Sub Sections panel on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, you can configure sub-sections for the section configured in the Sections panel. You can also add sub-sections to the sub-section configured in this panel.

  1. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Sub Sections panel.
  2. Click Procedure to open a list of procedures associated with the selected specialty.
    The procedures are configured for a specialty on the Procedure Config practice template.
  3. Select a procedure to configure sub-sections specific for a procedure.
  4. Select any of the following options:
    • Procedure documentation - Select this option to configure sub-sections for the procedure documentation section available in the left pane of the Documentation panel in this practice template.

      The configured sub-sections also appear on the run-time ASC Procedure Documentation template. The option is selected by default.

    • Procedure Findings - Select this option to configure sub-sections for the findings section available in the left pane of the Documentation panel in this practice template.

      The configured findings sub-sections also appear in the run-time ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates. When you select this option, the GET Member Equivalent field becomes available.

      If you select the Procedure findings option, the system opens a list of locations if configured in the Procedure Findings panel. After you select a location from the list, the system opens a list of findings configured for the location in the Procedure Findings panel. You need to select a finding from the list to configure sub-sections for a section of the procedure findings.

  5. You can add a sub-section to a section, by selecting Sub section 1.
  6. You can add a sub-section to the configured Sub section 1, by selecting Sub section 2.
  7. You can add a sub-section to the configured Sub section 2, by selecting Sub section 3.
    In run time, the configured procedure documentation and findings sub-sections appear in the left pane on the ASC Procedure Documentation template. The procedure findings sub-sections also appear in the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template.
