Procedure Letter	Click to generate the Asc_Ref_Proc_Phy_proc_letter document for the referring providers as a reference to the procedure performed on the patient.
Generate Document	Click to generate encounter based document Or, Click the drop-down arrow on the button and select a procedure from the list to generate the procedure based document. The procedure note document includes all the details and the images associated with the selected procedure.

Pre-Procedure Evaluation Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Pre-procedure Evaluation panel enables you to view and add patient's physical exam findings and generate the ASC Chart Note document after review and signoff. You can use the My Phrases link at the top-right of the Comments field to add comments. You can also document any additional findings associated with a procedure. Findings Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Findings panel enables you to document additional findings associated with a procedure. The findings are configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. For more information on configuration of procedure findings, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Procedure Documentation Config Practice Template User Guide forNextGen®Adaptive Content Engine. Note: The additional findings documented in this panel do not display in the Documentation panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template and vice versa. To document additional findings for a procedure, you need to select a procedure in the Procedure panel. After you select a procedure(s), the Findings panel displays the first procedure in the Reason for Visit section. The Reason for Visit section includes the left and right arrows to navigate to the previous and next procedure. The left blue arrow and/or right blue arrow indicates that the procedure(s) is available prior to and next to the

Send a Quick Task

The task recipient is configured in the Practice Configuration practice template. If you do not configure the task recipient in the practice template, you can open the Quick Task Setup template using the Quick Task button the first time, where you can configure the functionality. In the Quick Task Setup template, the Source template field defaults to the template it opens from and the configuration applies to the current user logged on to the system. To open the Quick Task Setup template at any time and set up a new quick tasking action, use the cog icon to the right of the Quick Task button. Open the ASC - Physician Procedure template. In the Assessment / Plan panel, click Add/Update. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. To send the referral to other staff members for any further action, click Quick Task. The Procedure Orders panel enables the providers to document the procedure orders. The procedure orders are pre-configured on the Procedure Orders and Discharge Instructions practice template. Procedure Orders If the current encounter includes only one procedure, then system displays the procedure in the Procedure field. If the current encounter includes more than one procedure, the system displays first procedure in the Procedure field. If the case ID of the encounters is the same, then the procedure orders documented in the panel carry forward to the Procedure Orders panel on the other Ambulatory Surgery framework templates in the next encounters with the same case ID.
