Allergies

You can manage patient allergy details of a patient.

You can add and review the allergy details of a patient in the Allergies panel. The Allergies panel enables you to add and review the allergy information associated with a patient. If there are no known allergies for a patient, you can select No known allergies.
Allergies Panel

You can only add the allergy and its reaction in the Allergies panel. The severity level must be added from the Medication Allergies module. For an allergy record, you can select multiple reactions and their respective severity levels from the Medication Allergies module.

You can view the intolerance details for the added allergies in theAllergiespanel if theIntolerancecheck box is selected on the Medication Allergies module. TheIntolerancecheck box indicates that the patient cannot tolerate the side effects of the medication.

The allergy information appears in a grid. You can sort the allergy records in the grid by columns. When a severity level is added or updated for an allergy record in the Medication Allergies module, the severity level appears in the grid.

If an allergen includes a list of components, the list appears below the allergen in the grid. When comments are added for an allergy record in the Medication Allergies module, the comment appears in the grid row.
