Add Diagnosis from Today’s Assessment to Obstetric Problems List

You can move an obstetric problem diagnosis from today’s assessment to the patient’s current obstetric problems list. The Today’s Assessment grid displays all diagnoses from a patient's current encounter. You can select a relevant obstetric (OB) problem diagnosis from today’s assessment and move it to the patient’s current OB problems list. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the OB Problems panel and select Add/Update.The OB Problem Add template opens. In the Today’s Assessment section, select the diagnosis that you want to add to the OB problems list. Select Send to OB Problems. Select the assessment status and priority. To add an OB problem to the Problems module, select Add to Problems Module, and then the relevant SNOMED code on the resulting window. To add notes, select 'Date Stamp' Note and then enter your notes. Note: The date stamp inserts the current date and the username. Select Add/Update. Add a Historical Obstetric Problem to the Current Pregnancy

You can view all the previous pregnancy problems of a patient and review the list and move a pertinent problem to the patient’s current pregnancy chart. The problem is added to the current encounter and not the associated notes. The Previous Pregnancy Problems link displays all the previous pregnancy problems of a patient. You can review the problems list and move a pertinent problem to the patient’s current pregnancy chart. The problem is added to the current encounter and not the associated notes. By default, the historical problem is set as active problem. On the Prenatal Detail tab, expand the OB Problems panel and select the Previous Pregnancy Problems link.The Previous Pregnancy Problems template opens. Remove an Obstetric Problem

You can remove Obstetric problems that are either incorrect or no longer applicable for the patient. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the OB Problems panel and then select Add/Update.The OB Problem Add template opens. Under OB Problems, select an OB problem that you want to remove from the list. Note: To remove a problem from the Today’s Assessments grid, you must go to the Assessment/Plan panel on the SOAP template and then delete. Select Remove. Add Obstetric Problems

You can add a patient's obstetric problems to the Problems module and also move a problem to today’s assessment. On the OB Problem Add template, you can add or update a patient’s obstetric (OB) problems, submit a problem to the Problems module, and move a problem to today’s assessment. The Associate Meds link allows you to view the active medications and associated diagnoses and update the diagnoses for an active medication. Update Obstetric Problems

You can update a patient's obstetric problems in the OB Problem Add panel. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the OB Problems panel and then select Add/Update. The OB Problem Add template opens. In the OB Problems pane on the left, select the problem that you need to update. Make the necessary changes. Select Add/Update.The problem in the OB Problems pane is updated with the changes made. Review Obstetric Lab Orders

You can review the obstetric lab order results individually or collectively. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. Open the Prenatal Detail template, and then expand the Initial Orders panel.The lab orders associated with the Obtained Interval date range appear in the grid. To review a single lab order result, select the row where the lab order result is available.The Edit Test Interval window opens when the lab order result is available in the grid. Select the Reviewed checkbox, and then select Save & Close.The reviewed check mark appears in the Initial Order panel grid for the selected lab order. To review all lab orders with results, select the Reviewed checkbox.The reviewed check mark appears for all orders with results.
