Change the Order of the Implantable Device fields

You can configure the order of the implantable devices. On the Practice Configuration template, scroll to the IDCO section. Select Create New.The grid fills with all the standard IDCO fields that the interface can capture from the IDCO profile. Create New changes to Reset. IDCO section Do one of the following: Select the promote or demote arrow to move the selected field name one row up or one row down respectively. Select the or arrow to move the selected field name of the list respectively. Clear is used to clear the selection in the grid. If you want to revert to the original default order, select Reset. In the runtime Device - Card template, the configured interrogation fields order applies to the interrogation data in the Interrogation Information grid and on the card_docDeviceReport document generated by selecting Generate Report on the template. Cardiology

The Practice Configuration template contains a separate Cardiology section for configuring specialty-specific settings. You can configure the following settings for the Cardiology specialty in the Cardiology section of the Practice Configuration template. Practice Configuration Template Cardiology section Account ID Display - You can select an option to display either the NextGen Medical Record Number generated by NextGen Healthcare or the 3rd Party Medical Record Number generated outside NextGen Healthcare on the Cardiology templates and documents. Copy Cardiac Problem List to Problem List Module - You can run a script to migrate the Cardiac Problem List into the Problems module, excluding free text entries and entries that match existing Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine (SNOMED®) problems. Document Interrogation Data

You can document the interrogation details of a device. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the left Navigation bar, click Device.The Device - Card template opens. Select the Manual Entry checkbox. In the Interrogation Information section, click the Interrogation Data link.The Interrogation Data - Device template opens. Interrogation Data - Device In the Interrogation Data section, do the following: Enter the interrogation date, time, and underlying heart rhythm of the patient. Select the device to be interrogated.The interface type is automatically entered. Enter the symptoms of the patient. Select the dependency of the patient. Enter the life expectancy of the patient. Enter the last interrogation date and the voltage and impedance value of the battery. Enter the type of interrogation and the name of the provider who does the interrogation. Documenting Device Details

You can use the Device link on the navigation bar to document the details of an implanted cardiac device. While documenting the details of an implanted device on the Device - Card template, you must document each cardiac device and each of its associated leads as a unique device. For example, after you enter the details of a pacemaker or implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), you must separately enter the device data for the associated device leads. For manually entering the device and interrogation details, you must select the Manual Entry checkbox on the Device - Card template. Add Cardiac Device Information You can search for the cardiac implantable devices and add implantable device information. Document Interrogation Data You can document the interrogation details of a device. Map Implantable Device Details You can map the existing device details to the Implantable Device module. Add Cardiac Device Information

You can search for the cardiac implantable devices and add implantable device information. Before you begin Select the Manual Entry checkbox in the Device - Card template for the Device/Lead Info link to appear. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the left Navigation bar, click Device.The Device - Card template opens. Select the appropriate diagnoses from DX1 and DX2.The diagnoses codes have been automatically entered next to the selected diagnosis. Device - Card Select Managing Dr, and select the provider. Select the Device/Lead Info link.The Implant Information - Device/Lead template opens. Note: The interface type of the implant has been automatically entered. Select the Device option. Interrogation Data Tabs

You can use various tabs on the Interrogation Data - Device template to view data, submit codes for billing, and enter additional information. The Interrogation Data – Device template has the following tabs. Tabs Description Historic Data Enables you to view the historical data of the devices implanted in a patient. Expanded Grid Enables you to view more interrogation data at a time. Submit Charges Enables you to submit codes for billing.
