Document Interrogation Data

You can document the interrogation details of a device.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. In the left Navigation bar, click Device.
   The Device - Card template opens.
3. Select the Manual Entry checkbox.
4. In the Interrogation Information section, click the Interrogation Data link.
   The Interrogation Data - Device template opens.

   

5. In the Interrogation Data section, do the following:
   1. Enter the interrogation date, time, and underlying heart rhythm of the patient.
   2. Select the device to be interrogated.
      The interface type is automatically entered.
   3. Enter the symptoms of the patient.
   4. Select the dependency of the patient.
   5. Enter the life expectancy of the patient.
   6. Enter the last interrogation date and the voltage and impedance value of the battery.
   7. Enter the type of interrogation and the name of the provider who does the interrogation.
   8. Enter the previous interrogation details.
   9. Enter the device implanter's contact number and name of the medical facility.
   10. Enter the name and contact number of the clinician and the clinic name.
6. Enter the details of the implanted device in the following sections:
   • Programmed Parameters
   • Additional Device Information
   • Measurement Attributes

   The Lead and Implant date fields have been automatically entered.

7. Enter the details of the lead of the implanted device in Atrial, Right Ventricle, and Left Ventricle.
   

8. Enter the therapy settings of the device in Therapy Settings.
9. Enter the details of the implantable cardioverter defibrillators episodes in ICD Episodes.
10. Enter the zone settings of the ICD device.
11. Enter the details of the ICD therapy in Therapy Statistics.
12. Enter the episode details of the heart rhythm abnormalities that occurred in the patient in Episode Statistics.
13. After you enter the interrogation data, do the following:
    1. Select the Task for review checkbox.
    2. Select the name of the person who is to review the entered information.
    3. Click OK.
14. Select Save & Close.
    The Interrogation Data grid displays the saved interrogation data.
