The Medications module allows you to prescribe, print, fax, and e-prescribe (requires enrollment) patient medications.
- In the Interview Questions panel, select the Medications link.
The Medication Module window opens.
- Select Prescribe New.
The Medication Search window opens.
- In Find, enter the partial or full name of the medication to be prescribed to the patient and select Search.
A list of medications matching the search criteria appears in the left pane.
- Select a medicine from the list and select Select to return to the Medications module.
- Enter the Sig, Quantity, Refills, and Start date from the corresponding list.
- If this medication is prescribed elsewhere, select the Prescribed elsewhere checkbox and enter the source in the Source field.
- Select Accept.
- Close Medication Module window.
