Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the patient instructions associated with a procedure and a section. In addition to the pre-configured default instructions, when you answer a scheduling screening question associated with the section on the Interview Questions panel, the configured patient instruction for the selected answer appears in the grid on the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel. The pre-admission instructions are pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Chart Check Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Chart Check panel displays the tasks based on the procedure, section, and the answers selected for the screening questions. Chart Check When you select a procedure in the Procedure panel, the tasks associated with the selected procedure appear in the grid. These tasks are configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template based on a procedure. You can filter the tasks associated with a section from the Section field above the grid. If you answer a scheduling question on the Interview Questions panel, the task configured for the selected answer also appears in the Chart Check panel grid. Procedure Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

You can add the details of procedure(s) to be performed on the patient using the Procedure panel. The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel appear in the Reason for Visit panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template of the Procedure Visit Type. Procedure If the case ID of the encounters is the same, the grid in the Procedure panel displays all the procedures documented in different encounters within the current case ID. Modify an Existing Procedure Details You can edit the existing procedure details for a patient record using the Procedure panel. ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

You can add necessary information for a patient using the ASC Scheduling Questions template. The ASC Scheduling Questions template is documented by the scheduler by obtaining necessary information from the patient prior to the day of the procedure. The Scheduler contacts the patient to obtain the information required to appropriately schedule the patient for the procedure. Document the Interview Questions Panel

You can enter the questions for patients using the Interview Questions panel. Expand the Interview Questions panel. The Allergies link opens the Allergies module. For more information, see Add the Allergy Details in Medication Allergies Module. The Medications links opens the Medications module. For more information, see Document the Patient's Medications. In the Answer field, select the appropriate answer for the question available in the Question field. An asterisk (*) appears to the left of the selected answer. Enter any Comment for the question being asked. You can enter comments without selecting an answer for the question. An alert message appears if the question is associated with an alert. Review the alert message and select OK. Note: An alert is pre-configured for the question in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Document Medications Module

The Medications module allows you to prescribe, print, fax, and e-prescribe (requires enrollment) patient medications. In the Interview Questions panel, select the Medications link.The Medication Module window opens. Select Prescribe New.The Medication Search window opens. In Find, enter the partial or full name of the medication to be prescribed to the patient and select Search.A list of medications matching the search criteria appears in the left pane. Select a medicine from the list and select Select to return to the Medications module. Enter the Sig, Quantity, Refills, and Start date from the corresponding list. If this medication is prescribed elsewhere, select the Prescribed elsewhere checkbox and enter the source in the Source field. Select Accept. Close Medication Module window.
