Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the patient instructions associated with a procedure and a section. In addition to the pre-configured default instructions, when you answer a scheduling screening question associated with the section on the Interview Questions panel, the configured patient instruction for the selected answer appears in the grid on the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel. The pre-admission instructions are pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Chart Check Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Chart Check panel displays the tasks based on the procedure, section, and the answers selected for the screening questions. Chart Check When you select a procedure in the Procedure panel, the tasks associated with the selected procedure appear in the grid. These tasks are configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template based on a procedure. You can filter the tasks associated with a section from the Section field above the grid. If you answer a scheduling question on the Interview Questions panel, the task configured for the selected answer also appears in the Chart Check panel grid. Use the General Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

You can document general information on the procedure using the General panel. The General panel includes fields such as scheduled date and time of the procedure, location where the procedure is to be performed, and the rendering provider, specialty physician, and/or anesthesia provider involved during various stages of procedure. Select the Established patient or New patient option. General Panel If applicable, select the Historian field and select the historian providing the information on the patient's medical condition. Select the following fields and select appropriate providers from the corresponding list: Rendering provider Primary specialty physician Anesthesia provider To clear the values from the provider fields, double-click the blank space in the respective list. ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

You can add necessary information for a patient using the ASC Scheduling Questions template. The ASC Scheduling Questions template is documented by the scheduler by obtaining necessary information from the patient prior to the day of the procedure. The Scheduler contacts the patient to obtain the information required to appropriately schedule the patient for the procedure. Procedure Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

In the Procedure panel, the provider can document procedure details to be performed on the patient. If the case ID of encounters is the same, the procedure details documented by the scheduler or clinical support staff on the Procedure Preadmission Visit Type carry forward to the Procedure panel on the Ambulatory Surgery framework templates in the next subsequent encounters.
