Configuration of Medical and Family History

You can configure the templates that open on adding a Medical or Family History on the Histories template. The configured templates appear when you add a medical history or family history on the Medical/Surgical/Interim panel and Family panel. The configurations apply to Specialty, Practice, and Provider. Medical / Family History The following templates are examples of which you can customise using the Medical / Family History panel. Configuration of Procedure Lists

The Procedures panel allows you to customize the list that you open using the Procedures button on the SOAP template. The default list for procedures is delivered with the application. Procedure Lists Manage Procedures on the Procedures List You can add or remove a procedure to the procedures list that you open using the Procedures link. Manage Summary Selections on the Summary List

You can add, remove, and reorder the summary selections on the Summary list. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Select the Medical Chart Summary panel. To select an item in the list, select the list field on the Summary Item column, and select a summary item.The selected summary item appears in the field. To add the summary item to the grid, select Add. To rearrange the items in the Summary Listing grid in alphabetical order, select Sort Alphabetically. To remove a summary item, select a row in the grid, and select Delete. You can configure panels using the Framework Content system template. You can configure the following panels on the Framework Content system template. Review the Patient's Chart Summary

You can gain a complete picture of the patient's clinical history on the Chart Summary template. Use the links in the left pane to filter the patient's information. Each practice can configure the links in the left pane on the Framework Content system template in the Medical Chart Summary section. Medical Chart Summary Review by Provider

You can select and view the data documented by the Intake staff in the Medical Chart Summary panel. The Medical Chart Summary panel displays the details documented by the Intake staff and provider in an encounter. The details from the previous encounters also appear in this panel. The data grid includes a list of categories in the left pane. Some of the categories include filters in the grid, which allows you to filter and review the required data.
