Configuration of Physical Exam Lists

You can configure the physical exam lists using the Physical Exam panel. You can find two filters on the Physical exam lists. All - All of the configured exams. Top - List of the top 14 exams that the practice uses most frequently and appear in the left pane in the Physical Exam panel. Exams that are included in the top 14 are available in runtime on the SOAP template in the Physical Exam panel. Physical Exam Using Additional option in the left pane, you can open the physical exams that are not listed in the top 14 list. Each physical exam listed in the Physical Exam panel is linked to a template. You can create and store the link on the Manage Custom Links practice template. Configuration of the Medical Chart Summary Panel

You can configure the items that appear in the left pane of the Medical Chart Summary panel. The Medical Chart Summary panel appears on the Home Page and the Summary templates. You can customize the navigation to include the Summary template. Manage Procedures on the Procedures List

You can add or remove a procedure to the procedures list that you open using the Procedures link. The Procedures link is present in the navigation bar on the SOAP template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Select the Procedures panel. In the text field on the Procedure column, type a procedure name.You can enter up to 40 characters. To select a template, select the list on the Template Name column and select a template. To add the procedure to the grid, select Add. To rearrange the items in the Procedures list in alphabetical order, select Sort Alphabetically. You can configure panels using the Framework Content system template. You can configure the following panels on the Framework Content system template. Procedure Code Configuration

You can create and manage procedure pages from the Procedure Code Configuration panel of the Common Procedure Configuration practice template. You can set default pages based on provider build new or edit existing procedure pages, add and edit procedure codes or procedure groups on the pages, and copy or delete pages. Access Procedures Sub-Navigational Link

The Procedures sub-navigational link displays the Procedures template to access several procedure templates associated with various systems. Click the Procedures sub-navigational link to access the Procedures template. Procedures template In the Pre-procedure care section, select the applicable checkboxes after explaining the pre-procedural care details to the patient. Click a procedure link to access the template for that procedure. Enter the applicable details in the template. Click Save & Close to return to the Procedures template. Click the Offline Proc Note or Preview Proc Note to generate a separate Procedure Note document, which includes the details documented in the Procedures template.
