The Patient Cancellation feature turns on automatic update of patient cancellations in NextGen® Enterprise PM. You can open a support case in NextGen Healthcare Success Community to turn on Patient Cancellation for your practice.
When you turn on patient cancellation, you can also configure the following:
- The cancellation reasons to be displayed to patients when they cancel their NextGen Virtual Visits™ appointments. The selected cancellation reason is displayed on the NextGen® Enterprise PM appointment book for the canceled visit. You can update the cancellation reasons in File Maintenance.
- The message displayed to patients when they cancel their NextGen Virtual Visits™ appointments.
